Elizabeth Maria Enoksdatter

Elizabeth was born 18 April 1835 in Steigen on  Engeløya Island , her birth and baptism are recorded in the Steigen Church Register. Her parents were Marith Arentsdatter and Enok Johansen

Little is known about her life apart from the few insights that can be gained from some events in her life as well as her surroundings. By1870 she had moved to the village of Stamsund in the Lofoten Islands about 50km by boat approx 300km by land. This is where she may have met Andreas Narius Dannielsen and gave birth to their son Albert Marelius Andreassen. She lived all her life in Stamsund and passed away 11 November 1900.
