Kaiapoi Lake was once the old shingle works site, 5 minutes north of Christchurch and has now been restored to beautiful picinic areas. A recent field trip to the area by Noel Andreassend and other members of Senior Net for a photo competition saw the area interpreted in many different ways, with the main theme being Light.
Noels theme of light and reflection beautifully captured the magic of the area in early spring and was one of the three winners. http://www.seniornetcanty.co.nz/
