Well, you are having another wonderful trip with Claire soaking up the sun.
I ( Mum) can remember when you were young in Timaru (and had all your teeth that would be with you for the rest of your life) a Chinese friend noticed that you had a gap between your two front teeth and became very excited and said “”Your son is going to do much traveling” Well you certainly have brought that to pass.
We are so proud of all that you have achieved and that you can enjoy it while you are fit and –yes- young - because we are as young as we feel and we think that zest for living will always be with you.
You have worked hard with real determination and built a great building business. Something to be really proud of and Dad is proud to have played a part in that.
When you were young and in the sports teams you showed such determination to get that ball through and we have one photo of you that says it all! It is a beauty.!
Dad and I have such precious memories of you boys and our Saturday sports at Ashbury Park.
May you and Claire enjoy many, many more years of travel and even getting back to having your own boat as we think of all the fun you had and you’ll have memories of Dad and me as you took us out sailing!!
