When we walked down the aisle of Chalmers Church, Timaru after Rev. Ed. Farr had pronounced us man and wife the thought of you one day being 83yrs never entered our minds. It felt that we would always be young. Well, it is still a little like that, you still jog, you continue to love to help our boys and you still look much less than your age and you are still good looking with VERY FEW wrinkles!!
When I look at your bike that still sits in the garage and remember how you won so many races and time trials when you were young and all the race meetings we shared as a family, all the excitement as you crossed the line first having done heart stopping charges up the side of the track to swoop down to win yet another ribbon.
It is just wonderful as we of think of all our family has achieved and the way they are spread out around the world and how precious they are to us and how proud we are of them.
Thank you Ronald for this lovely idea of doing a birthday blog for Dad.
